SCRAT AND THE NUT

The Scrat , squirrel character from the movie " Ice Age " already faced piranhas , was struck by lightning , was almost devoured by a dinosaur and even found a little squirrel , the Scratita , who dispute his nut . Crazed by the nut which can never catch the squirrel is responsible for the separation of the continents , in the last film in the franchise .

All the squirrel’s mess trying to open his  nut or his tireless search for the nut remind me of our path into achieving our goals . In some scenes of the movies I glimpse fear, despair ; use of the senses (especially smell); observations of the environment, actions and repeated movements toward the so much dreamed nut, visceral longing for purpose , effects of actions taken, gains, losses, separations, new strategies, physical and mental stress, anger, exhaustion, hacks, care, going to the inner core of the Earth after burning itself(inner sounds to me our own self) ; persistence, challenges and climbing, doubts about which way to go, stay by a thread (or a tongue), wounds along the way, facing various weather conditions (rain, sun, snow, wind) , satisfaction with the scope, contemplation, love, race for the nut, regret, anger and fight to save whatever he wants. I believe that in our journey towards achieving a goal, whatever it is (weight loss, buying a house or car, travel, changing jobs, going to another country, or a corporate goal) we can go through of those Scrat's experiences .You've experienced some of them on your journey? Probably so.

I draw your attention to the adventures of that squirrel ever after watching their antics, because let in myself the following question: would it be a symbol of persistence? This same we all need to achieve everything we want? I invite everybody to be attentive to the many events that our journey nut brings. As a professional Coach and human being, winning the nut is very important(is about performance, results!) but  it is also worth take a look in all those learning along the way, and im sure, they are many... I can listen Scrat screaming....ahhhhhhhhh!!!

Share with us your "Scrat's experiencies". Have an incredible weekend!!!
